Anna Silk is a Fredericton resident, and is the daughter of Peter Silk, who was an academic. Her mother, Ilkay Silk, had many talents, including being able perform, direct, produce, write plays as well as teach and serve as director of drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk was born to a British father and an British-born Turkish Cypriot mother. Her appearances in commercials were numerous when she was a child. Then, in November 1999 Anna moved to Toronto in order to further develop her acting career. She ended up making the move into Los Angeles, California, in the following decade. Seth Cooperman and Anna met in Los Angeles in 2007, in an acting workshop. They became engaged in 2009 when they were married. Anna was a convert to Judaism in the year before, and Seth Cooperman were wed in the month of December in Fredericton. In April 2011, they renew their vows in an Jewish ceremony. Bo's same-sex relationship to Lauren (played by Zoie Palmer) was featured in CNN's list of all-time Favorite Television Couples and named the Top TV Couple of the year 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. The show's success led to Anna building a large followers on social media.
